KIERSTEN GOSNELL
Nonstop Athletics is proud to offer private softball training sessions with Kiersten Gosnell. She is a softball instructor and a former standout athlete from North Buncombe High School in Weaverville, North Carolina. She earned recognition for her versatility as both a pitcher, infielder and hitter. She has ranked among the top in the Mountain 3A/4A conference. Her passion for the game led her to sign with Mars Hill University to continue playing at the collegiate level. Now, she bring that same energy and experience into coaching. She specialize in developing young athletes by focusing on fundamentals, mental toughness, and building confidence both on and off the field. Whether it’s pitching mechanics, hitting technique, or game IQ, her goal is to help players grow and love the game as much as she does. GUS GONZALEZ
Coach Gus lives and breathes all things baseball. Born in Venezuela, Gus has been playing baseball since he was 3 years old and has proudly represented his home country on multiple teams and in multiple prestigious tournaments. He moved to the U.S. in 8th grade and went on to play three years of varsity baseball. Since then, He has competed at the JUCO DI, Division II, and NAIA levels. During his sophomore year, his JUCO team was ranked 12th in the nation. He is a career .400 hitter with 12 home runs, and his strongest tool is his deep understanding of hitting and ability to break it down in detail. Gus uses both technology and classic tried and true techniques to help athletes learn and grow in this sport. Gus is passionate about coaching and is fueled by his ability to help kids reach their full potential on and off the field.
